We are excited to present a series of exclusive articles, starting with a data-driven analysis of the impact of AM hardware, materials and services in the medical sector. Following that, our main feature is a fascinating interview with Jos Olijve, Senior Project Manager at gelatin specialist [Rousselot](https://www.voxelmatters.directory/company/rousselot/), about the company’s biomaterial innovations within the ENLIGHT bioprinting project. Next up is an exploration of [Exentis](https://www.voxelmatters.directory/company/exentis-group/)’ and [Axenoll’s](https://www.voxelmatters.directory/company/axenoll/) 3D screen printing technologies, which are not only applicable for technical ceramics, but also the mass production of pharmaceuticals. Our mapping chapter presents the current landscape of bioprinting hardware, bioprinting materials and 3D printed pharmaceutical companies, and last but not least is an overview of the key milestones and history of in-space bioprinting, a cutting-edge subsegment of medical AM that could transform bioprinting and tissue generation applications.
