Additive manufacturing service providers were among the first adopters of the technology and played a vital role in introducing the capabilities of 3D printing to end users, first for rapid prototyping and eventually for production applications. Today, AM services continue to play an absolutely vital role in the industry, not only offering an entryway into 3D printing to new adopters but also enabling existing users to increasingly scale their AM production.
In this eBook, we are looking at the trends apparent in the AM service landscape, including the increasing shift to AM factories, whose highly automated, highly scalable production workflows are dedicated to full-scale production. Not only that, we are looking at how some additive manufacturing OEMs are integrating the needs of AM services into their products.
