INTRATOMICS and Sindan partner to bring graphene-enhanced materials into UAE additive manufacturing
Khalifa University spin-off to supply advanced feedstocks as Sindan equipment moves into Abu Dhabi facility
INTRATOMICS Advanced Material Technologies, a subsidiary of Khalifa University Enterprises Company (KUEC) and a commercial spin-off of the Research and Innovation Center for Graphene and 2D Materials (RIC2D), has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Sindan, a hub for AI-driven advanced manufacturing in the UAE.
Under the terms of the MoU, Sindan will serve as a strategic offtaker partner for INTRATOMICS’ advanced material feedstocks, which include graphene and 2D material-enhanced pellets, filaments, and other additive manufacturing inputs.
INTRATOMICS will supply materials engineered for industrial-grade applications, and support Sindan’s operations across design, production, and advanced manufacturing services. Select Sindan additive manufacturing and extrusion systems will be placed within INTRATOMICS’ 2DWORKS facility in Abu Dhabi as part of the agreement.

The partnership comes amid a concerted drive for industrial diversification and the development of domestic manufacturing capabilities in the UAE, and just a few days after Sindan and LEAP 71, a computational engineering firm headquartered in Dubai, formed a strategic partnership at the Make it in the Emirates trade show on May 4 to jointly develop and produce air-breathing jet engines and space propulsion systems.
