Inside 3D Printing Mumbai to highlight leaders in Indian AM industry this December
The event will also host its first AM Business Forum

While most eyes in the AM industry were keenly focused on Germany this month because of the influential Formnext trade show in Frankfurt, next month Mumbai will draw some attention as it hosts the Indian edition of Inside 3D Printing. Part of the larger Inside 3D Printing event series, Inside 3D Printing Mumbai will aim to highlight and showcase the key stakeholders in India’s 3D printing industry.
The event will be hosted from December 19 to 20 at the Nehru Exhibition Centre in Mumbai. Though still small in comparison to other global AM events, Inside 3D Printing Mumbai is the biggest networking platform for 3D printing within India—which itself has a continually growing AM industry.
This year, India’s largest additive manufacturing company, Imaginarium, has been brought on as the event’s lead partner, though a number of other companies from the region will be in attendance to exhibit their various software, 3D scanning, services and 3D printing technology offerings.
The event will also be hosting its first AM Business Forum on December 19, 2018, which will be focused on knowledge sharing, exploring new career opportunities and determining how or if 3D printing can impact a business’ production process. At the forum, experts from around the globe will present a range of business cases and applications for additive manufacturing in the areas of tooling, automotive engineering, metal AM, dental, DfAM, healthcare and more.
Companies sending speakers to the AM Business Forum include Danfoss, Renishaw, EWI, Sridevi Tools, Imaginarium, Wipro 3D, Intech DMLS, LHM Germany, DesignTech, Additive Industries and Gharda Plastics. These representatives will host or participate in seminars covering various use cases for commercial and industrial AM.
Inside 3D Printing Mumbai states that its event welcomes professionals from the automotive, healthcare, design and tooling industries, as well academic researchers, software developers and foundry owners.
Inside 3D Printing hosts AM-centric events in cities across the globe, including San Diego, Munich, Sao Paulo, Melbourne, Seoul and others. Last year, Inside 3D Printing Mumbai reported a total of 1,917 business visitors, many of whom were from OEMs or distribution companies.
