# Inkbit elastomers now available through Stratasys Direct

[Inkbit](https://www.voxelmatters.directory/company/inkbit/)’s production-grade TEPU 30A and TEPU 50A elastomers are now available through [Stratasys Direct](https://www.voxelmatters.directory/company/stratasys-direct-manufacturing/), expanding access to functional elastomer parts for engineering teams transitioning from prototyping to production.

## Expanding access to production elastomers

The arrangement brings Inkbit’s Vision-Controlled Jetting (VCJ) technology into the Stratasys Direct service environment, giving customers a way to source elastomer components for applications that require precision, repeatability, and mechanical performance. The companies are positioning the offering as a more predictable route from CAD to finished part, with a focus on reducing the variability often associated with 3D-printed elastomers.

Davide Marini, CEO of Inkbit, described the move as an expansion of the company’s manufacturing reach. “Access turns technology into impact,” Marini said. “By making TEPU elastomers available through Stratasys Direct, we are extending the reach of our Digital Factory to teams that need functional performance, not just visual prototypes. This is about enabling engineers to build what they actually intend to use.”

Bud Runquist, General Manager of Stratasys Direct, linked the addition to broader customer demand for production-ready elastomer materials. “As more of our customers move from prototyping into production, the need for functional elastomers continues to grow,” Runquist said. “Bringing Inkbit’s VCJ technology into our portfolio expands our ability to support those applications—giving customers more options for producing durable, high-performance elastomer parts at scale.”

## Out-of-scale capabilities

Inkbit's TEPU elastomers are designed to address a longstanding additive manufacturing challenge: producing soft, durable, dimensionally stable parts without support structures while also supporting higher-volume production. The VCJ process uses closed-loop control at the voxel level together with a meltable wax support system, which the company reports helps avoid the surface marks and trapped powder associated with some other additive manufacturing methods while producing fully dense, non-porous parts.

Those process characteristics are intended to support designs such as intricate internal lattices, airtight seals, and compliant structures. Through Stratasys Direct, customers can now source TEPU 30A and TEPU 50A parts for applications that require flexibility, resilience, and tight dimensional control, including soft-touch interfaces, seals and gaskets, airtight components, energy-absorbing lattices and foams, and cushioning parts.
