IMR Metal Powders joins KBM online marketplace

Austria’s IMR Metal Powder Technologies has finalized its agreement with US-based KBM Advanced Materials, LLC for the sales and distribution of IMR’s aluminum metal powders for additive manufacturing. KBM has established a unique metal powder marketplace and distribution network in North America. IMR’s high-quality aluminum metal powder offerings will now be available to this network increasing users’ access to quality powder products.

IMR has been a leading provider of industrial metals, semi-finished products, and chemical products for over 30 years, marketing their products globally. There will now be a dedicated stock of IMR material at KBM’s warehouse in Ohio, providing just-in-time access to producers of aluminum parts.

IMR focuses its production of aluminum alloy powders to the additive manufacturing industry and is a partner for the development and production of customer-specific powders for laser powder bed fusion (PBF-L/M), Direct Energy Deposition (DED), and other processing technologies.
