Boson Machines, an extrusion 3D printer manufacturer and 3D printing service in Mumbai, India, completed the 20 feet tall programmable, LED, wave-like modular facade of the Hybec Lighting Store, also in Mumbai, by 3D printing 6,000 light bulbs. Spectacular and original, modular 3D printed facades are sort of becoming a thing, as we just reported on another similarly huge project in Dubai.

The enormous work required 2 months and a total of 18,000 hours of printing on Boson Machines’ Graviton filament extrusion systems. The concept was to create unique bulbs with a brain-like aesthetic using PET. Using LED lighting the bulbs change color and create truly spectacular effects. The final result is quite stunning.
