# HP and Craftcloud launch on-demand MJF parts portal with instant quoting

[HP Additive Manufacturing Solutions (HP AM)](https://www.voxelmatters.directory/company/hp-inc/) and [Craftcloud, the Munich-based advanced manufacturing marketplace](https://www.voxelmatters.com/3d-printing-marketplace-craftcloud-gets-growth-funding/), have launched a joint on-demand ordering portal that gives engineers and designers direct access to Multi Jet Fusion (MJF) parts through a single web interface.

[The HP 3D Printing Service Powered by Craftcloud](http://hp.craftcloud3d.com) allows users to upload digital files, receive immediate price quotes, select from a network of HP-vetted production partners, and manage orders for global delivery. The platform displays provider names and locations, a feature the companies stated sets it apart from comparable on-demand services, and it also provides finishing options, including dyeing, polishing, vapor smoothing, and electroplating.

The portal is targeted at companies weighing the capital cost of in-house additive manufacturing systems against the complexity of coordinating multiple external service bureaus, and is being positioned to support short-run manufacturing, iterative product development, digital inventory programs, and large-scale series production

Kring believes the HP portal also represents a template for further partnerships. “Craftcloud is excited to be the backbone of this new portal for HP MJF technology,” he added.
