HP and AMufacture team up to showcase latest advances at open house
Additive manufacturing industry pioneer AMufacture and global technology leader HP join forces for special UK event
AMufacture, which has seen a seven-fold increase in its manufacturing capacity in the past two years, will host the open house at its Portsmouth, UK base on January 20. In collaboration with HP Additive Manufacturing Solutions, the day will be packed with displays and demonstrations of the latest advances in additive manufacturing. Technical workshops, real-life case studies, and discussions around topics such as security, manufacturing, post-processing, materials and quality control will all be on the agenda.
HP AM’s VP & Global Head of Sales and Business Development, François Minec, sees the event as a chance for further adoption of AM across an even wider business spectrum as the industry continues to grow at a significant pace.
“As additive manufacturing is rapidly evolving, this open house will provide an excellent opportunity to explore these developments,” he said. “[It] will be a valuable day for anyone interested in seeing how additive manufacturing can transform their business and deliver high-quality, industrial, production-scale manufacturing.
AMufacture co-founder Craig Pyser sees the event as an opportunity to harness another pivotal moment for AM. “Nine out of every ten parts which leave our headquarters are now destined for end-use rather than as a prototype,” he said. “The industry has huge potential as it continues to develop at pace.
“We’re delighted to be teaming up with our friends at HP AM for this special open house which will showcase how additive manufacturing now has true production capability and can deliver parts at scale and with consistency, quality and speed”.
Since its founding in 2018, AMufacture has rapidly grown to become a leading provider of AM solutions, servicing multiple industry sectors with innovative technologies.
It recently appointed former Dyson MD David Hollander to support its continued expansion following a fresh investment round and is targeting further growth both domestically in the UK and abroad.
