# HOZO targets desktop 3D print post-processing with NeoBlade ultrasonic cutter

HOZO, a [precision tool maker](https://www.voxelmatters.com/creality-presents-multi-tool-creation-ecosystem-and-new-hardware-range-at-rapid-tct-2026/), has released the NeoBlade, a cordless ultrasonic cutter aimed at makers and desktop fabricators working with 3D printed parts, resin models, and other precision materials. 

The tool's blade oscillates 40,000 times per second, producing a micro-sawing action that parts plastic, resin, and acrylic with minimal user-applied pressure. The approach reduces the risk of cracking or deforming delicate prints during support removal — a common failure point when conventional hobby knives are used on fine-detail components.

The pen-like form factor is designed for maneuverability around complex geometries, allowing users to trim support nubs from confined spaces or cut detailed patterns from foam board without distorting surrounding material. 

Because the tool delivers its own cutting force through vibration rather than requiring the user to bear down, it’s claimed by HOZO that it allows greater directional control during fine work. The NeoBlade Premium Combo extends the base configuration with multiple blade types — including fine-point tips for detail work and chisel tips for broader cuts — along with a Turbo Dock with battery support.

## Part of a broader post-processing ecosystem

HOZO has positioned the NeoBlade as the first step in a larger [post-processing workflow](https://www.voxelmatters.com/creality-launches-k2-and-k2-pro-desktop-3d-printers/). The company's lineup also includes the NeoSander, a detail finishing tool that uses a patented reciprocating linear motor to move its sanding head back and forth in a straight line at up to 13,000 strokes per minute. Weighing 89 grams, the NeoSander is designed to remove layer lines and smooth surfaces on printed parts without generating the heat associated with rotary sanding methods, which can melt or distort softer materials such as PLA. 

The workflow begins with the NeoRuler, a digital measuring tool that combines scale-based reference with caliper-style functionality for verifying part dimensions before cutting or finishing begins.
