HiETA secures investment from Meggitt Plc for expansion of additive manufacturing activities

HiETA Technologies Ltd has secured investment from Meggitt (UK) Ltd, a subsidiary of Meggitt PLC, a leading international company specializing in high-performance components and subsystems for the aerospace, defense and selected energy markets.

The investment will accelerate the development of the next generation of high-performance and lightweight thermal systems across HiETA’s key markets and applications, whilst supporting the growth of the company’s additive manufacturing products and services to both new and existing customers.

HiETA additive manufacturing

HiETA Technologies uses metal additive manufacturing primarily for thermal management and light-weighting. The company was founded by Mike Adams, a serial entrepreneur with experience in the implementation of automated systems and change management, and Drummond Hislop, a development economist with an engineering background and a long-standing interest in carbon-reducing, thermally efficient engine systems.
