Hawk Ridge Systems announces new Ohio-based AM facility

3D printing solutions company Hawk Ridge Systems has announced the opening of a new additive manufacturing facility in Ohio. The digital manufacturing lab marks the Silicon Valley-based company’s continued intention to expand in the midwest region and broaden the geographic scope of its AM solutions.
The new facility, which will be opening its doors this month, will function in a number of ways, providing an environment for Hawk Ridge Systems client meetings and training sessions as well as a production showroom that will showcase product portfolios from leading AM companies HP and Markforged.
“The Cincinnati area is an ideal location because of the strong engineering and manufacturing presence that Ohio offers,” said Paul Rudin, VP of Digital Manufacturing at Hawk Ridge Systems. “We are extremely excited about this expansion and look forward to working with companies, both big and small, for their additive manufacturing needs.”
Hawk Ridge Systems has 22 offices operating across the Unites States and Canada, bringing its 3D design, manufacturing and printing solutions to clients across the continent. The company’s solutions include HP and Markforged 3D printers, Artec 3D scanning and the full Dassault Systèmes software offering, comprising SOLIDWORKS and CAMWorks. The company is the frequent recipient of the SOLIDWORKS top reseller award.
Dale Ford, CEO of Hawk Ridge Systems, said of the expansion: “Hawk Ridge Systems is thrilled to open our new location in Ohio and expand our additive manufacturing capabilities. We look forward to becoming a member of the Cincinnati community and an integral part of the local manufacturing sector.”
The new digital manufacturing facility is located on Lake Forest Drive, in the same building as a Microsoft Training Center. Hawk Ridge Systems will be hosting an official open house for the new location this Wednesday, June 19.
The company’s other offices and training centers are located across the U.S.—California, Nevada, Oregon, Washington, Minnesota, Wisconsin, North Dakota, South Dakota—and in Canada—in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario and the Maritimes.
