Hawk 3D Proto, an independent UK-based 3D printing company, supplies a wide range of 3D printing products and services to a fast-growing customer base. One significant part of the company’s remit is to supply high-performance desktop 3D printers and in this regard, Hawk 3D Proto adds Aleph Objects and is now a UK reseller for the Lulzbot 3D printer range. In addition, the company has formalized a distributor agreement with Magigoo.

Lulzbot has garnered a globally respected reputation within the desktop fused filament segment of the 3D printing market for building reliable, high-quality desktop printers. Moreover, the company uses its own 3D printers to produce parts for its 3D printers, a true example of the founding RepRap philosophy on which it is built. The company has currently printed more than 2 million production-grade parts within its own operations. Hawk 3D Proto will resell both the tried and trusted Lulzbot Mini as well as the Lulzbot Taz 6, which is the latest version of LulzBot’s flagship 3D printer — a high-end device that can handle prints large and small; together with a full range of materials and accessories. All Lulzbot 3D printers are made in and supplied from the US.

Hawk 3D Proto is also adding to its accessories range by becoming a dedicated distributor for Magigoo. The clue is the name here, and there is a little bit of magic involved. Magigoo has fast become a must-have for thousands of desktop 3D printer users to simplify and speed up the part removal process. Magigoo is a unique adhesive for 3D printer build plates that is fast and easy to apply and ensures fast and easy part removal post-print. It has not always been this way! Magigoo is odorless, safe (non-toxic) and works with all of the main 3D printing materials — it is a must-have in any 3D printer toolbox.

Achieving success for any application with 3D printing is not, and has never been, just about the 3D printer. While it is the cornerstone of any 3D printing project, the ancillary products and processes are also fundamental to success, as well as a realistic approach and experienced support. Hawk 3D Proto fully understands this comprehensive approach and it is this that has seen the company experience tremendous growth and gain significant momentum as an independent and trusted supplier of 3D printers, filament materials, and 3D printing accessories.

Hawk 3D’s broad portfolio of products and services is a testament to its true insight and expertise all of which is passed on to customers — either through service offerings or workshops. The company runs a fully equipped information and test center that enables outreach activities for educational institutions, industrial organizations and individuals alike. One of Hawk 3D Proto’s unique selling points is the service it provides via this facility pre- and post-sale with full hands-on training for any industrial sector.
