# Growing demand for AM solutions drives 17% YoY sales increase for Carfulan Group

[UK-based specialist Carfulan Group](https://www.voxelmatters.directory/company/carfulan-group/) saw record results in the past 12 months, bringing in £22.3m in revenue and creating eight new jobs to keep pace with demand.

Carfulan Group’s portfolio includes 3D printing, multi-sensor measurement, turned part measurement, and optical measurement solutions, which it provides to more than 500 clients.

Its biggest driver of growth in the past year has been its tool presetting, inspection, and storage products solution, which saw an 81% year-on-year sales increase. Its 3D printing offerings were also highlighted as a strong market by Managing Director Chris Fulton, an area of the business that sees continued success driven by the popularity of its dental-sector products.

“Growth has come from all parts of the product portfolio, and we’ve seen several new introductions over the last twelve months,” explained Fulton. “There is a renewed appetite to invest in advanced manufacturing to help combat rising costs, optimize processes, and manufacture complex components.”

To handle the increased demand across its business sectors, the company is expanding its workforce to 59, with operations based at its advanced innovation center in the UK’s Midlands region. There, it showcases its advanced metrology and 3D printing systems, as well as its ability to meet the growing demand for extensive aftercare support, training, servicing, and maintenance.

The company’s continued upward trajectory underscores the growing demand for advanced manufacturing across an ever-expanding client base—an indicator that the advanced manufacturing space is gaining wider adoption.

“It’s not just the big OEMs. We’re seeing an increase in interest from across the supply chain and from several new adopters. This is really exciting, as our technical experts can get under the skin of the business in a bid to deliver lots of added value, cost savings, and efficiencies,” added Fulton.
