The self-serve platform, called [Gantri Made](https://www.voxelmatters.directory/company/gantri-made/), will support designers at every step of the product development and manufacturing process, leveraging Gantri's specialty know-how in lighting design, prototyping, digital manufacturing, scaling and logistics. Gantri introduced the new platform during NYXxDesign 2025 along with three new lighting collections from brands Rarify, RAD and Haworth, each of which was developed using Gantri Made. These lamps showcase how homeware brands of any size and independent designers can bring new lighting products to market much more efficiently than using traditional product development pathways. According to Gantri, its new platform can bring UL-certified light fixtures to market in under three months, a process which could otherwise take up to 18 months using conventional workflows and manufacturing processes. From there, designs can be prototyped and tweaked until a final design is reached. At that point, Gantri Made offers built-in UL certification, Shopify or backend integrations, order fulfilment handling and custom packaging for the products. When a customer purchases a designer's lamp, the product is made to order at Gantri's digital factory in San Leandro, California. Products are made using Gantri Plant Polymers, a series of plastics derived from non-GMO sugarcane, including an opaque blend engineered to withstand high temperatures and a translucent blend with light-diffusive particles. Products can also be finished with a water-based paint that imparts a smooth, soft touch. Finished lighting products are ultimately packaged and shipped from Gantri's facility directly to the customer, resulting in more localized production. Rarify, a designer-led source for furniture and lighting, created Cube One, a modular lamp housed in a cubiform frame made of vintage and new components from USM Haller. RAD, a lighting research and design firm, has launched the Little Dot Table Lamp, a unique perforated lamp inspired by the architectural style of Jean Prouvé. Finally, furniture store Haworth has launched a three-piece collection designed in collaboration with the women-owned design studio PROWL. The brand's three lamps, Rae, Luna and Beam, are 3D printed and available in a variety of colorways.
