Formlabs plans three new printer platforms in the next 12 months after a record quarter
The company posted all-time highs across hardware, software, and services sales, with SLS growth driven by the Fuse X1
Formlabs closed its strongest quarter to date last June, solar Q2 2026, setting company records across several categories: total sales, hardware sales, non-hardware sales, services sales, and SLS sales, the last driven largely by the recent Fuse X1 launch.
The company also reported record SLS printer unit sales and record non-hardware sales in its dental business, marking the segment’s fourth consecutive quarter of growth.
Beyond SLS, Formlabs said SLA printer unit sales and usage kept growing, and it closed several large Fuse 1+ deals in June, each covering eight units or more.
Looking ahead, Formlabs plans to ship three additional printer platforms over the next 12 months, without specifying which technologies or price points they will target.
The company has expanded its SLS lineup this year with the Fuse X1, alongside continued sales of its SLA and Fuse 1+ systems, as it works to build out its position across desktop and production-scale polymer 3D printing.
