3D Printed Penny Board V2 by 3DNA Made with Newly Released Formfutura Apollo X and Titan X Filaments

3D Printing Media Network member FNTSMN (soon to be aka 3DNA) just released a new video on his latest creation, the 3D Printed Penny Board V2. A few months agos, Simone Fontana, the designer who created the FNTSMN YouButbe Channel, had challenged many skeptics and created a perfectly functional 3D printed Penny Board. Now he surpassed himself and released a new, geometrically intricate board made possible by FormFutura’s TitanX and ApolloX filaments
The end result is a totally unique board that cannot be purchased and takes full advantage of 3D printing’s geometrical possibilities. The intricate design can be downloaded from Simone Fontana’s Thingiverse account and is made possible by the augmented mechanical properties of the new filaments.
In order to celebrate 5,000 subscribers on his YouTube channel, Simone is also launching a $240 Giveaway contest with 3 $80 Gift certificates to be spent on the Formfutura online shop, which anyone can enter simply by liking Simone’s or Formfutura’s Facebook pages (which is where the winner will be announced).
One last not, the Penny Board V2 is tested only up to 70 Kg of weight. That does not mean it could not hold more but just in case you might want to check with Simone first.
