Farsoon expands production with new Advanced Material Factory
Production of powders for polymer PBF began in early January 2023
Leading Chinese PBF hardware manufacturer Farsoon completed the first phase of its Advanced Material Factory project after 20 months of intensive construction. The new factory started its very first production run of Farsoon plastic powder bed fusion material at the beginning of Jan 2023. As a dedicated site for increased polymer material production, Farsoon’s Advanced Material Manufacturing Facility includes a total area of 14.8 acres. The first phase of the project is the completion of 13,000 square meters of factory space, with an annual production capacity of up to 500 tons of additive manufacturing materials.
This new manufacturing facility also includes an advanced material laboratory and is the home to Farsoon’s Material R&D team. The facility will perform the integrated function from material development, testing, and manufacturing to application. With extensive industry know-how in powder bed fusion material, Farsoon will continue to innovate alongside our customers to develop diverse materials tailored for the industry, also by producing parts that can meet the highest manufacturing quality standards.
Farsoon considers material to be a core part of its competency. Currently, the company offers a series of PA12 and PA6-based reinforced powders available for additive manufacturing. With established branch companies and distribution sales channels network, the company’s high-performance materials are now available to customers in 30+ countries and regions around the globe.
