Earlier this week, two months after publicly listing on the Shanghai Stock Exchange STAR Market, Farsoon, a manufacturer and supplier of industrial-level polymer and metal laser sintering systems, held a ceremony for its new R&D and manufacturing headquarters in Xiangjiang New District, located 10 minutes away from the current Farsoon campus.

This new campus covers a total area of 20.1 acres, and features 140,000 square meters of gross floor space. The first phase of construction is expected to be completed by 2024. The campus will offer multiple integrated infrastructures for industrial additive manufacturing, including research and development, machine manufacturing, an application hub, an innovation laboratory, an integration factory, and a service center.

In Jan 2023, the company announced the completion of the first phase of its advanced material manufacturing factory. In October and November 2022, Farsoon introduced new multi-laser, large-format metal and plastic AM systems – FS621M Pro-6, FS621M-U-4, and Flight HT1001P-4 – designed for high-speed production of industrial-scale additive manufacturing.

“Additive manufacturing is playing an increasingly vital role in many industries. Farsoon Technologies has laid out a plan for pushing true manufacturing with plastic and metal laser powder bed fusion technology,” said Dr. Xu Xiaoshu, Founder and CEO of Farsoon Technologies. “With the completion of the new headquarters we will keep building credibility by introducing innovative industrial solutions that meet the demand of the market.”
