Fabbrix launches Elemento V2.1 for FFF additive manufacturing

Fabbrix introduced a new solution for FFF additive manufacturing. As a result of 3 years of development, Elemento V2.1 represents a new solution for industrial large‐format 3D printing, bringig added value to new products and fostering their development efficiently and sustainably.

Elemento V2.1 Built with industrial high‐quality components, this Made in Italy combination of technologies presents several advanced features, and it is designed to process different materials of engineering quality for industrial applications.

Although Fabbrix has its own range of engineering filaments, the open filament system lets the customer freely use third‐party materials. With an expanded print volume equal to 1000x560x530 mm, Elemento V2.1 is designed to print large industrial parts. The heated build plate, capable of reaching 100°C, ensures excellent adhesion of the first layer thanks to an auto-leveling sensor able to map the surface with precision. The closed chamber, thermally insulated and soundproof, is equipped with an active temperature control system to achieve the maximum performance of materials.

The print head is provided with a direct dual extruder, including an anti‐collision system, and it is also able to adapt to any production need, thanks to the interchangeable and configurable Hotends. These high‐capacity Hotends, made entirely of metal and which can reach 300°C, are capable of extruding fiber-reinforced technopolymers, thanks partly to the availability of different-sized ruby nozzles that ensure performances and longevity. The graphical interface guarantees a good user experience and besides, thanks to the Wi‐Fi connectivity and integrated camera, it is possible to remotely monitor and control the printer.

Provided with CE certification, this machine allows the operator to work in complete safety, it is indeed equipped with an automatic locking system of the door to prevent the operator from accessing it when the components are moving. Combined with the active temperature control system, there is a renewed air purification system 2in1 fitted with a HEPA filter H13 which ensures efficiency of 99.95% versus VOCs (volatile organic compounds) and UFPs (ultrafine particles).
