EXPO3D Istanbul opens ticket sales for its 2026 AM exhibition
Three-day show will run at the Istanbul Expo Center from September 17 to 19, alongside the fifth International Conference on 3D Printing & Additive Manufacturing
Organizers of EXPO3D Istanbul 2026 have opened ticket sales for the international exhibition dedicated to additive manufacturing and advanced production technologies, which will run at the Istanbul Expo Center in Türkiye from September 17 to 19.
The event was built as a meeting point for technology developers, manufacturers, academic institutions and professionals working on industrial AM adoption, and this year’s event will cover metal, polymer and composite AM systems, materials and powders, design, simulation and manufacturing software, 3D scanning and reverse engineering, post-processing, automation and Industry 4.0 technologies.
Exhibitors and target industries
Companies from Türkiye, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Spain, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, China and South Korea are expected to exhibit, with professional visitors anticipated from Europe, the Middle East, North Africa and Central Asia. Startups, university laboratories, innovation centers and technology parks will take floor space alongside established manufacturers and suppliers.
Organizers are targeting decision-makers, engineers, R&D teams, production and procurement managers, distributors and investors across industries including aerospace, defense, automotive, medical technology and machinery manufacturing, as well as universities, research centers and industrial clusters.
Conference program and market forecasts
The fifth International Conference on 3D Printing & Additive Manufacturing will run alongside the exhibition with contributions from Yıldız Technical University, covering smart manufacturing, advanced materials, industrial applications and emerging technologies.
Confirmed keynote speakers include Professor Román Pérez, Vice-Rector for Research, Innovation and Knowledge Transfer at UIC Barcelona, and Dr. Mahdi Bodaghi, Associate Professor of Smart Materials and Manufacturing at Nottingham Trent University.
“Türkiye combines a young and highly qualified engineering workforce with a developing industrial infrastructure and a strategic geographical position,” said Yıldırım Ünverdi, Exhibition Coordinator of EXPO3D Istanbul. “These strengths create significant potential for the country to become a regional center for manufacturing and innovation.”
Ünverdi stated that rising demand from defense, aerospace, medical technology and automotive industries would speed the development of Türkiye’s AM ecosystem, and that the technology’s regional effect would become more visible over the next five to ten years in end-use production, maintenance and repair, lightweight component design, customized manufacturing and digitally managed supply chains.
“EXPO3D Istanbul is intended to be more than a three-day trade exhibition,” he added. “Our objective is to create a sustainable platform that supports high-technology manufacturing, encourages investment and enables qualified, long-term business partnerships.”
