EXPO3D Istanbul draws 11k visitors and set dates for 2027
The 2026 edition attracted a huge attendance, and organizers are now targeting an even broader international participation at the next edition in Istanbul
EXPO3D Istanbul closed its 2026 edition at Istanbul Expo Center this month having catered to 11,224 visitors, with just over 1,000 of those attendees international. The event hosted 127 exhibiting companies representing more than 320 brands.
The next edition is scheduled for September 30 to October 2, 2027, at the same venue, and organizer TAM Fuarcılık has outlined its plans to target wider participation, a larger international network and an expanded offering built around the additive manufacturing production chain.

Visitors and exhibitors
Visitors came from defense, aerospace, automotive, home appliances, medical, energy, shipbuilding, plastics, mold-making and jewelry fields. Companies represented at the 2026 event included Baykar, ASELSAN, ROKETSAN, Turkish Aerospace, Ford Otosan, Mercedes-Benz and Togg. Exhibitors came from Türkiye, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Poland, China, South Korea and Bahrain.
In the organizer’s exhibitor survey, 87% of respondents reported meeting qualified prospective customers.
“International companies need opportunities to understand where their technology can make a practical difference,” said Yıldırım Ünverdi, Fair Coordinator at EXPO3D Istanbul. “Our aim is to bring them into direct contact with the companies evaluating those possibilities. Türkiye’s range of manufacturing industries gives these conversations considerable depth, from materials and design through to production, finishing and quality assurance.”
Ünverdi added: “An exhibition’s value continues in the conversations that follow it. We want EXPO3D Istanbul to be where companies meet their next customer, identify a potential local partner or discover a new application for their technology. In 2027, our focus is on broadening the international participation that makes those connections possible.”
Congress and 2027 scope
The International 3D Printing and Additive Manufacturing Congress, held with Yıldız Technical University, covered scientific work and industrial applications. EXPO3D Industry Talks addressed investment, return on investment, cost and productivity.
The 2027 edition will cover industrial metal, polymer and composite 3D printing, materials, robotic AM, software, 3D scanning, and measurement and testing. Post-processing, heat treatment, sintering, precision machining and hybrid manufacturing will also be included in the programming.
