Stay up to date with everything that is happening in the wonderful world of AM via our LinkedIn community.

A new webinar organized by 3dpbm leverages findings in the latest market report to discuss opportunities for composites AM with key segment stakeholders. The webinar is scheduled for next December 9th, at 2 pm UTC (3pm CET / 9am ET) and is free to attend.

The recently published report from 3dpbm Research titled Composites AM Market Opportunities 2020–2030 analyzed demand and revenues in composites AM hardware, materials, services, software and applications forecasting a potential $10.6 billion global market within a decade.

Which are the most immediately relevant opportunities in Composites AM? In this webinar, we will hear from the representatives of three rapidly developing companies in the composites AM segment. They will be presenting three of the primary revenue opportunities for the future of composites manufacturing.

December 9th: Composites AM Market Opportunities 2020–2030 Webinar

Among these, 3dpbm expects serial automated production of small and medium-size continuous fiber reinforced polymer parts to be one of the most interesting medium and long-term market opportunities. Presenting 9T Labs, Mr. Martin Eichenhofer will highlight the company’s vision for targeting this segment, through a unique modular AM system and MaaS business model.

More immediate revenue generation opportunities include large-format chopped-fiber-reinforced-polymer composites additive manufacturing via very high-throughput, large-scale 3D printing systems, such as those developed by Ingersoll. Mr. Daniele Martani will illustrate the company’s activities in this area while also looking at ongoing development in the longer-term opportunity for multi-axis robotic extrusion of continuous fiber-reinforced parts.

The development of the entire composites AM market is—more than anything—dependent on the evolution of 3D printable composites materials, as well as their availability and costs. To better understand the opportunities that lie in the composites AM materials segment We will hear from Mr. Collet, who heads AM materials development at LEHVOSS, one of the companies leading the market in advancing composites AM materials science.
