Exentis Pharma system delivered to Italian pharmaceutical company
It has production capacity of up to 10 million 3D printed tablets per year
Exentis Group AG, provider of the only 3D technology platform worldwide that enables industrial large-scale manufacturing, delivered an Exentis Pharma production system of the latest generation to a leading manufacturer of pharmaceuticals (CDMO) in Italy.

The delivered 3D system is capable of additively producing up to 10 million tablets per year. Our modularly expandable production systems have an annual production capacity of currently up to 200 million tablets, with up to three active pharmaceutical ingredients per tablet, and with convincing benefits for patients. The proprietary Exentis 3D technology platform makes it possible for the first time to additively produce tablets with a freely adjustable release profile of active pharmaceutical ingredients in the human body. Thus, Exentis technology created a completely new market segment.
In addition to the pharma market, Exentis will use its innovative production technology to tap into further attractive growth markets in the future in which products are also manufactured using clean room technology. These include markets such as pet medicine and nutritional supplements.
