CECIMO – the European Association of the Machine Tool Industries and related Manufacturing Technologies – kindly invites you to join the webinar on “Repairing with Additive Manufacturing: An opportunity to boost industrial sustainability”, which will take place on Wednesday 14 April 2021 from 11:00 to 12:10.
In the context of the Circular Economy Action Plan, the European Union plans to provide high-quality, functional and safe products that last longer and are designed for reuse, repair, and high-quality recycling. Additive Manufacturing (AM) facilitates the repairment and restoration of products extending their lifecycle, reducing the company’s costs and bringing the EU a step closer to achieve its Circular Economy targets.
The webinar will discuss the current industrial AM applications and their impact on the European Circular Economy Action Plan. The event will focus on the challenges the AM sector is facing when it comes to technical approaches such as repair, remanufacture and refurbishment.
