# Euler releases real-time build viewer for metal additive manufacturing operators

[Euler, an Icelandic software startup focused on AI-driven defect detection in 3D printing](https://www.voxelmatters.directory/company/euler/), has released Euler Viewer, a free real-time build viewer for metal additive manufacturing operators, which the company is unveiling at this week’s RAPID + TCT 2026.

Euler Viewer requires no hardware installation and connects metal 3D printers to a browser-based platform, where operators can stream and store powder bed images as a build progresses. 

[The platform is compatible with the majority of LPBF systems](https://www.voxelmatters.com/researchers-improve-processes-and-powders-for-lpbf/) and can be set up in minutes, and allows builds to be reviewed in full after completion and shared with colleagues, collaborators, or customers via a link — with no remote desktop software required.

## Addressing two persistent workflow gaps

The tool targets two problems common in metal 3D printing workflows. Most modern LPBF machines capture high-resolution images after each layer, producing thousands of images per build that create a detailed layer-by-layer record of the manufacturing process. 

Despite the volume of data generated, it typically goes unused due to a lack of accessible viewing tools, and when operators do attempt remote monitoring, they generally rely on remote desktop software running on the printer's control PC. It is a setup that exposes factory networks to security risks.

Euler Viewer is built on SOC 2 Type II security controls and supports manual data upload for operators who are unable to connect machines directly, and serves as an entry point to Euler's full monitoring platform.

“We keep seeing the same pattern at AM facilities around the world; thousands of powder bed images captured during every build, and many are not being used. Not because operators don't care, but because there has never been a simple, dedicated tool to access them,” said Dr. Eyþór Rúnar Eiríksson, CEO and Co-Founder of Euler.

“Euler Viewer is our response to that — we believe this is a tool the industry should have always had, and one that should be easily accessible to every operator. By making it free and purpose-built, we are giving AM professionals a straightforward, secure way to actually view the data their machines already produce.”

Euler closed a €2 million ($2.35m) seed funding round last November.
