# EOS to exhibit production tooling and AI-driven manufacturing line at Hannover Messe 2026

[EOS](https://www.voxelmatters.directory) is bringing a broad portfolio of industrial 3D printing applications to [Hannover Messe 2026, running April 20–24 in Hannover, Germany](https://www.voxelmatters.com/event/hannover-messe-2026/), with a presence spread across three locations: its own booth in Hall 26, the Siemens Innovation Hub in Hall 27, and the Siemens Defense Production Area in Hall 26.

On its own booth, EOS is focusing on manufacturing production tooling via additive manufacturing. Demonstrated applications include tooling for fiber forming, which could be produced at up to 50% lower cost with lead times of a few weeks, and vibratory bowl feeders—used in mechanical engineering to transport bulk materials such as screws and nuts—where a customer project achieved 7% material savings, 30% cost reduction, and over 90% shorter lead times. Also on display will be a 3D printed gripper for a robotic arm, with the company citing weight and CO2 savings of over 90% compared to conventional alternatives.

## Adaptive manufacturing with Siemens

In the Siemens Innovation Hub, EOS is participating in a joint showcase of an adaptive manufacturing concept centered on the EOS P3 NEXT industrial polymer printer. The demonstration will use a sports shoe midsole as its application case, showing how geometry and properties could be adjusted based on athlete and sport criteria. Automation technology from Siemens provides the orchestration layer.

"Thanks to industrial artificial intelligence for orchestrating complex workflows, we can control and make the entire process more flexible," said Karsten Heuser, Vice President of Additive Manufacturing at Siemens Digital Industries. "The concept covers all steps from AI-supported design for 3D printing to AI-driven orchestration of the entire production process."

The EOS P3 NEXT is positioned as a mid-volume series production platform, with availability cited at up to 90%. "In the mid-volume range, the EOS P3 NEXT enables individualized series production," said Davide Iacovelli, Regional Director EMEA at EOS. "Specifically, this means shorter development and manufacturing cycles, greater flexibility in product design, and significantly higher process reliability across the entire production chain."

## Laser focus on defense applications

EOS also participates in the Defense Production Area at Hannover Messe 2026, where it will  showcase applications, including a high-speed drone from Quantum Systems produced using polymer 3D printing, illustrating AM's role in rapid development cycles and on-demand part production for defense supply chains.

The company's speaking program includes a panel discussion on April 20 featuring EOS CEO Marie Langer alongside representatives from Orisol and Accenture's Siemens Business Group, focusing on industrial AI, additive manufacturing, and robotics as building blocks for adaptive manufacturing. EOS will also delivere a Master Class on simulation-based design of polymer production tools and a keynote on additive manufacturing as an enabler for scalable industrial automation, both presented by Dominik Sippel.
