EasyCork Filament Launched by Formfutura to Expand Wooden-Based Composite Range of Materials

The Dutch filament supplier is introducing a new wood composite to its growing list of materials.

EasyCork is a lightweight cork-filled PLA-based filament which is gravimetrically filled with approximately 30% cork fibres. This means that one kilogram of EasyCork contains 300 gram of lightweight cork fibres. These lightweight cork fibres make that EasyCork has an incredible high volumetric filling.

EasyCork - DarkEasyCork is based on our EasyFil PLA compound added with cork-fibres, binding agents and modifiers resulting in a beautiful cork filament which allows you to 3D print objects with cork-like aesthetics and cork-like properties such as being lightweight and impact resistant. EasyCork is available in a natural dark cork and light cork variant. 

The natural cork fillers in EasyCork will give your printed object a “living” appearance with very subtle natural linings/shades which can be reinforced by playing around with extrusion temperature variations during your 3D print.

The material is available in 1.75 and 2.85 mm spools, in both the Light and Dark, for €32,95. Samples are also available for €3,99.
