With 3D printing doubling every year, Dremel has switched to cloud operating system 3DPrinterOS, so consumers who buy their newest 3D printers can use it as easily as they use their smartphone. With over 12.000 parts powered in over 100 countries, this announcement solidifies 3DPrinterOS’ position as the premier software to power desktop 3D printing as the 3DPrinter OS software platform supports over 100 different printing manufacturers – the most of any other software provider.

“3DPrinterOS allows real-time central management of users, printers and designs with any web browser in a platform-agnostic solution,” says Dremel Education Head of Sales George Velez.  “This will bring a better solution for classrooms and industrial applications because the cloud-based software has a versatile device use including Chromebooks and iPads.”
3dprinteros-copia 3DPrinterOS’ goal is to make 3D printing as easy as possible. Interoperability between 3D printer operating systems has kept printing resources in their own silos running disparate operating systems, which has made 3D printing deployment prohibitive for most IT departments. 3DPrinter OS allows enterprises to easily deploy 3D printers across the organization regardless of manufacturer. Moving to the leading software platform will help the 3D printing industrial revolution come to reality while meeting all IT corporate compliance requirements.

“Dremel has created a line of world class 3D printers, and we are pleased they switched from another provider to partner with us,” said 3DPrinterOS President John Dogru. “Our vision is to power the web to 3D printing revolution, so users can print to a connected 3D printer anytime from anywhere.”
