# Czech AM service ONE3D acquires large-scale NXG 600E 3D printer

Czech development and manufacturing service [ONE3D](https://www.3dprintingbusiness.directory/company/one3d/) has added a new metal 3D printing system to its fleet of production solutions, the NXG 600E from [Nikon SLM Solutions](https://www.3dprintingbusiness.directory/company/slm-solutions/). The metal AM platform, which has a build volume of up to 600 x 600 x 1500 mm and is equipped with a dozen 1000-watt lasers, will allow the company to expand its services by offering large-scale, high-precision metal parts to customers in the aerospace and defense  industries.

ONE3D's prototyping and production portfolio consists of various additive manufacturing processes, including SLS, MJF and [SLA on the polymer side](https://www.voxelmatters.com/one3d-invests-in-rps-neo800/) and DMLS on the metal side. Up until now, its metal AM platform of choice has been the EOS M400-4, which has a build volume of 400 x 400 x 400 mm. With the installation of the large-scale NXG 600E from Nikon SLM Solutions, the AM service is expanding both its metal AM productivity and the size of parts it can handle. This is particularly valuable for its partners in the aerospace and defense sectors, including Lockheed Martin, which ONE3D recently partnered with to develop the Czech Army's F-35 fighter aircraft program.

Nikon SLM Solutions first announced the NXG 600E and NXG XII 600 platforms in 2022 and [received its first machine order](https://www.voxelmatters.com/1-5-meter-z-axis-nxg-xii-600e-metal-printer-receives-first-order/) from Concurrent Technologies Corporation (CTC), a contractor for the U.S. Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL). More recently, the Germany-based company started production in the United States for its large-scale metal AM system at a a facility in South Carolina to meet the growing demand for its large-scale metal AM system in North America.
