# Countdown to ceramitec 2026 where modern industrial applications will be a major focus

[ceramitec, the trade fair that brings together suppliers, users, and decision-makers from the international ceramics industry](https://www.voxelmatters.com/event/ceramitec-2026/), is now just two months away. With more than 90 exhibitors signing up for the first time – in addition to numerous leading companies – it remains the reference meeting place for innovators across industry, research, and technology in the space, and a truly global exchange, with delegations from a vast number of countries.

![Countdown to ceramitec 2026 where modern industrial applications will be a major focus](https://www.voxelmatters.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/04/Ceramitec_2024__0727-scaled.jpg)The event will take place in Munich from March 24 to 26, 2026. It will focus on high-performance ceramic materials with diverse applications, key amongst them additive manufacturing, for which VoxelMatters is the media partner.

Event venue [Messe München and the German Ceramics Society (DKG) are using the upcoming event ](https://www.voxelmatters.com/messe-munchen-and-dkg-partner-for-ceramitec-2026/)to intensify their collaboration further, and an enhanced trade fair format is one novelty for this year, with organizers responding to changing conditions in numerous branches of industry.

With innovation cycles accelerating significantly, a shorter duration and shorter cycle of the fair is working in direct harmony with the pace and direction of the constantly evolving ceramics industry.

“The aim is to present developments in a compact way, while at the same time appealing to new exhibitor and visitor groups,” stated Maritta Lepp, Exhibition Director. “The fact that both established companies and a host of new exhibitors support this concept confirms our approach and shows the high relevance of ceramitec.

“We’re delighted with the positive response and the continuing stream of registrations. We therefore expect ceramitec 2026 to attract at least the same number of exhibitors as in 2024.”

New shows and premiere formats will also enhance the attendee experience. Designed to emphasize key features and provide special insights into current industry developments, one exhibition will feature select exhibits that demonstrate how some ceramic components that are otherwise “invisible” in everyday life are crucial performance drivers in industry and everyday life. Another will present current innovations and technological developments in heavy clay ceramics from a variety of member companies.

The event will be a true show of innovative strength and the importance of the industry, with international market leaders such as [XJET](https://www.voxelmatters.directory/company/xjet/), established returning, and new exhibitors presenting ceramic solutions, technologies, and innovations. [The event recently won a Red Dot Award for its brand strategy around the 2024 edition](https://www.voxelmatters.com/ceramitec-receives-red-dot-award-for-new-brand-strategy/), underlining the progress being made in raising the profile and awareness of ceramics as a material and its central role in numerous industries of the future.

analytica 2026 – a laboratory technology trade fair – will take place in parallel at the same location and on the same dates, offering attendees the opportunity to benefit from learning first-hand about the industry overlaps, while ceramitec will hold further events in India (late January) and Vietnam (December).
