# Cookiecad releases collaborative 3D printing guide for Hanukkah 2025

The guide functions as both a curated repository of STL files and a technical demonstration of accessible design. It featured projects contributed by specific community designers, including a "Chanukah Gift Calendar" created by Megan at Cookiecad, which utilized a print-in-place design requiring no assembly or support structures. This model allowed users to print individual sections labeled for the eight nights of the holiday, intended to house small gifts or confections.

Other mechanically complex entries included a "Dreidel and Launcher" designed by user MichaelF569299, which the guide noted required minimal post-processing, and a "Print-in-Place Twisty Puzzle Dreidel" by designer 3DPrinty. The latter featured a handle and base printed separately that interlocked without the need for adhesive, demonstrating the capabilities of modern FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling) printers to handle tight tolerances.

The publication emphasized technical accessibility for hobbyists and educators. Many of the included designs, such as the "Chanukah Tic Tac Toe" board and the "Chanukah Gift Card Holder," were engineered to print without support material, reducing material waste and print time. The "Menorah Playset," designed by user MrGlass, offered a modular approach, allowing users to scale the model to fit various print beds while utilizing gradient filaments to simulate flame effects.

For those without 3D printing hardware, the company noted the availability of pre-manufactured cookie cutters through its e-commerce storefront, bridging the gap between digital design and traditional culinary arts.
