What’s new at the booth

Continuum will unveil several breakthroughs that highlight its commitment to advancing additive manufacturing through sustainability and performance.

Join Continuum at Formnext to discover sustainable production-grade powders that enhance additive manufacturing performance. The first highlight is a major advancement in high-temperature materials. In collaboration with HP AM Solutions and TECNALIA, Continuum is developing M247 and M247LC—superalloys traditionally used in casting—for binder jetting production. Visitors will have the opportunity to review data from print-mode development, sintering, and downstream processing that enable these alloys to perform in hot-section applications where exceptional strength and oxidation resistance are essential.

Another key development is the qualification of OptiPowder Ni718 for binder jetting in partnership with INDO-MIM. This achievement proves that reclaimed, U.S.-sourced feedstock can meet stringent performance standards. The case study highlights consistent density, hardness, and chemical control, providing manufacturers with a certified route to producing parts that do not rely solely on virgin materials, thereby reducing supply volatility.

Continuum will also present its next-generation Direct Powder Feeder™ (DPF), a system designed to reclaim unused AM powder and feed it directly back into atomization. This innovation eliminates the need for intermediate consolidation steps, resulting in faster processing, reduced waste, and preserved material integrity. The DPF is particularly beneficial for reactive alloys such as titanium and represents a tangible step toward achieving a closed-loop process between printing and powder production.

Additionally, Continuum is expanding its strategic partnerships to accelerate the adoption of binder jet technology. Collaborations with AmPd Labs and other leading organizations will help translate R&D advancements into practical production solutions. Attendees can expect to see real-world use cases, process maps, and qualification playbooks that bridge the gap between material readiness and factory reliability.

Why you can’t miss this

The developments showcased by Continuum Powders address critical needs across the additive manufacturing industry. Powders engineered for process compatibility significantly reduce the time required for qualification and scale-up. Precision control of particle size distribution, morphology, and cleanliness ensures consistent quality across builds and production sites.

By leveraging circular feedstock programs and domestic sourcing, Continuum enhances supply chain resilience, improving both material availability and cost stability. Equally important, the company’s closed-loop systems promote sustainability by reducing waste and environmental impact—without sacrificing material performance or reliability.

Visitors to Hall 11, Booth E31, are invited to meet Continuum’s experts, review detailed qualification results, and explore how these advanced powders can fit specific application needs. Whether you’re looking to qualify a new material, plan a sampling program for your printers, or discuss performance data, Continuum’s team will be available for in-depth conversations.

Those who prefer a one-on-one discussion can schedule a dedicated meeting at their convenience—just bring your specification sheet and join the conversation about the future of sustainable, high-performance additive manufacturing.
