CONSTRUCT3D, a developer of high-performance 3D printing systems, has introduced the Construct 2, a system built to ‘push industrial additive manufacturing into a different performance bracket’. The system is a production-grade machine engineered for sustained high-speed output and high-temperature polymers.

While most large-format extrusion systems hover around 1–2 kg of daily material output, the Construct 2 moves the ceiling to 8 kg per day – and crucially, does so without degrading part quality or dimensional tolerance. Intelligent process monitoring and adaptive controls keep the system stable over long print cycles, reducing downtime and eliminating the variability that usually comes with pushing print speeds.

“The Construct 2… sets a new benchmark for what’s possible in industrial 3D printing, unlocking new levels of production scale without compromising quality or speed,” said Jacob Lord, CTO at CONSTRUCT3D.

Key specs include: up to 8 kg/day material throughput – four times higher than typical systems; 24/7 continuous operation – built for real industrial duty cycles; precision control architecture – stable tolerances at high speed; compatibility with advanced engineering polymers – for tough manufacturing environments; and intelligent process monitoring – improved reliability and uptime.
