# CoAspire enters U.S. Air Force framework agreement for AM cruise missiles

[CoAspire](https://www.voxelmatters.directory/company/coaspire/) has secured a place in a multi-year framework agreement covering the U.S. Air Force's Family of Affordable Mass Missiles (FAMM) program, a procurement effort aimed at high-volume production of air-launched cruise missiles. 

The Virginia-based company has entered into the agreement with its Rapidly Adaptable Affordable Cruise Missile (RAACM), which uses an additively manufactured fuselage.

The Air Force selected RAACM in late 2025 under a developmental Other Transactional Agreement (OTA) covering integration and flight testing on Air Force aircraft. That work led to the framework agreement, under which RAACM is being evaluated for FAMM. 

Subject to congressional authorization and appropriation, the program is scheduled to deliver 28,000 missiles across its first five years, beginning in fiscal 2027, and will be run from Eglin Air Force Base in Florida.

## Additive manufacturing in the airframe

[CoAspire claims the baseline RAACM flew ranges of hundreds of miles, attributing this to a printed fuselage that freed internal volume for a larger fuel tank](https://www.voxelmatters.com/coaspire-tests-raacm-affordable-3d-printed-cruise-missiles/). The company stated that additive production also cut tooling and touch labor, allowed design changes without stopping a production line for retooling, and shortened new variant development to months rather than years. 

The family includes versions sized for air, surface and ground launch, alongside an extended-range model designated RAACM-ER.
