# CMS to show KREAROB robotic LFAM system at JEC World 2026

[CMS Advanced Materials Technology](https://www.voxelmatters.directory/company/cms/) will exhibit at [JEC World 2026](https://www.voxelmatters.com/event/jec-world-2026/) to spotlight KREAROB, a robotic LFAM system designed for thermoplastic polymer extrusion aimed at composite tooling and large models. For CMS, LFAM is primarily intended as a production method for autoclave molds used for composite components, models, trimming jigs and fixing equipment, with the workflow typically pairing 3D printing with CNC milling to achieve the final tolerances.

## KREAROB and KREATOR

KREAROB sits alongside gantry-based KREATOR printing systems in the same product family. CMS lists KREATOR A3 and KREATOR M10 as additive-only platforms. KREATOR A3 is configured with the E3 extruder rated at 30 kg/h and supporting vertical, 45° and horizontal print strategies, while KREATOR M10 is paired with the E10 extruder rated at 100 kg/h and supports vertical and 45° strategies. KREAROB is intended as an additive production cell supporting 3- and 5-axis printing with a 30 kg/h extrusion unit, a 3 m working radius, and a 2.5 m by 1.5 m worktable.

The company frames the additive portfolio as built around granulated thermoplastic polymer extrusion, supported by a range of extruders and a material handling approach that includes granule drying and dust filtration. CMS lists E1, E3 and E10 extruders with maximum flow rates of 10 kg/h, 30 kg/h and 100 kg/h, respectively, and maximum temperatures up to 450 °C depending on the model. The systems are positioned for polymers used in large-scale 3D printing, such as PLA, PETG, ABS, PA6, PC and PEI, including carbon- or glass-fiber-reinforced formulations.

CMS also ties its LFAM platform to software and operator tooling: ICARUS is a product-oriented slicing environment that can analyze part geometry and material/strand properties to suggest printing parameters, support simplified project modeling, and run process simulation using a 3D printed model, alongside a dedicated HMI print interface for process monitoring and a real-time print preview.

## Hybrid print-and-mill solutions

Beyond additive-only systems, CMS positions KREATOR as a mix of dedicated printers and hybrid machines that combine 5-axis milling with additive production. Hybrid solutions include KREATOR ARES and KREATOR POSEIDON with automatic head change and dual-bridge systems. Systems like KREATOR MX5, KREATOR POSEIDON 10, and KREATOR ETHOS 10 support an automatic transition from milling to printing without manual intervention.

For shops that want to add printing capability to existing machining capacity, CMS also offer a “pick-up” approach that semi-manually engages a 30 kg/h screw plasticizing unit on 5-axis machining centers, with vertical and 45° printing strategies, and availability across platforms including ARES, ANTARES, MX5, POSEIDON and ETHOS.

CMS’ additive range is part of a broader machine-tool offering for composites, aluminum and metal. This wider portfolio spans across multiple categories, including monobloc CNC machining centers for vertical milling, CNC machining centers for large work areas, fixed and mobile bridge CNC machining centers, monobloc CNC machining centers for horizontal milling, waterjet cutting systems, and specialized CNC systems for eyewear manufacturing, rifle stocks and wind-turbine work systems.
