CELLINK launches CELLCYTE X to optimize data collection in cell culturing

Another interesting product for the cell bioprinting production workflow

CELLINK has been able to rapidly evolve the world of bioprinting from a strictly high-end academic research environment to a vibrant and young new market with opportunities behind every corner. The company began with bioinks, moved into hardware and is now focusing increasingly on the entire “production workflow”. If AM has inspection metrology and finishing stations, then bioprinting should have platforms for data collection on cell culturing: that’s exactly what the new CELLCYTE X system is for.

Details matter in live-cell imaging. The CELLCYTE X has been designed to provide the maximum insight scientists need on every experiment. The ultimate goal is to take the obstacles and variables out of cell monitoring – so researchers can focus on the results. CELLCYTE X is the most cost-effective, yet high throughput live-cell imaging system, ready for all applications.

CELLCYTE X

The future of cell monitoring is here

CELLINK engineers reinvented microscopy by developing an insightful and user-friendly system that’s specifically made for the cell biology connoisseurs around the world. CELLCYTE X is the next-generation cell imaging platform designed to optimize data collection, analysis, and cell culturing processes. It leverages the full power of CELLINK’s DNA Cloud-based software to deliver continuous insight, enabling high-impact observation without the risk of disturbing an experiment.

The system’s compact design has been tailored to fit inside conventional incubators. It has six slots for well plates and flasks, enabling high-throughput screening, with the ability to scan a 96-well plate in under five minutes. Scientists can use it to track cell morphology moment-by-moment at three frames per second, with a five-megapixel camera that captures images with clarity and sharp resolution. Researchers can thus study every detail at 4 times, 10 times or 20 times magnification, accessing three fluorescence channels to distinguish structures and layers.

The CELLCYTE X has also been developed to be power efficient, in orde to share resources with coexisting lab hardware. It can stand operation in high humidity, with temperatures up to 37 degrees Celsius. The anodized aluminum, chosen for its nonreflective and lightweight properties, ensures superior optical performance.
