Developed by Roboze’s Materials Department The addition of carbon fibers to nylon12  increases, at an equal weight per part, the mechanical performances possible with just nylon.

The 3D printed part walls become more resistant and, at the same time, more flexible. The adhesion between the layers is stronger. All this while retaining the chemical inertness of nylon 12. Not bad!

In particular, the increase in performance is related to:

  • mechanical strength
  • tensile strength
  • chemical and thermal resistance
  • density
  • durability
  • dimensional stability

What does all of this basically allow you to do? First, it will enable your part to pass even the most severe tests, as defined in test specifications while providing a significant weight reduction at competitive costs.

From there, the applications are limitless! Here are some examples:
