# Caracol raises impressive $40M Series B to accelerate global scale-up

[Caracol, one of Europe’s fastest-growing deep-tech companies and a pioneer in large-format robotic manufacturing](https://www.voxelmatters.directory/company/caracol-studio/), has raised $40 million in a Series B funding round co-led by Omnes Capital and Move Capital Fund I, alongside CDP Venture Capital’s Large Ventures Fund, which acted as a catalyst for international investors.

The new investment brings together global funds and leading Italian institutional investors to support Caracol’s next phase of international growth. Existing shareholders, including Primo Capital SGR, Eureka! Venture SGR, and Neva SGR (part of the Intesa Sanpaolo Group), also renewed their backing. The round was heavily oversubscribed, allowing some early investors to exit with substantial returns, signaling strong institutional confidence in Caracol’s business model and growth potential.

“This Series B represents a generational step for Caracol,” said Francesco De Stefano, Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of Caracol. “In just a few years, we’ve built strong global traction, doubling revenues year after year. This round validates our vision and execution, while bringing on board leading deep-tech investors. With their support, we’re ready to accelerate our global scale-up and help advanced industries strengthen supply-chain and manufacturing resilience through the flexibility, efficiency, and sustainability of our technology.”

## Expanding global footprint and advancing technology development

Caracol plans to use the new funding to scale its operations globally, consolidating its leadership in Europe, the United States, and the Middle East while expanding into high-growth markets in the Asia-Pacific region, particularly Japan. The company will continue to enhance its multi-process, multi-material robotic manufacturing platforms, focusing on software, automation, and artificial intelligence to deliver data-driven process control and improved product quality.

In parallel, Caracol aims to ramp up its metal additive manufacturing capabilities in regulated sectors such as aerospace, defense, energy, and maritime, while extending its polymer-based solutions in transportation, construction, and architecture. The company, which currently employs more than 100 people across offices in Milan (Italy), Austin (United States), and Dubai (United Arab Emirates), expects to expand its international team as part of its growth plan. Caracol’s technology is already deployed in more than 50 countries, with over 100 robotic platforms installed worldwide.

## Strengthening industrial partnerships and regional presence

Over the past five years, Caracol has delivered hundreds of projects across industries, achieving year-over-year revenue growth exceeding 100%, a trend that continued in the first half of 2025. Its technology has enabled significant cost and efficiency gains in industrial supply chains—for instance, [achieving up to 70% cost savings on finished parts for Italian yacht manufacturer Ferretti Group](https://www.voxelmatters.com/ferretti-turns-to-robotic-lfam-from-caracol-to-produce-pershing-gtx116-grilles/), reducing carbon-fiber tooling lead times by 50% with French composites firm Duqueine, and supporting circular construction practices with U.S. contractor HITT.

The company [recently expanded its Texas headquarters to serve as a North American manufacturing hub](https://www.voxelmatters.com/caracol-opens-new-facility-in-austin-texas/) and completed the acquisition of [Hans Weber Maschinenfabrik GmbH’s intellectual property](https://www.voxelmatters.com/caracol-acquires-webers-additive-manufacturing-assets/) and technologies for additive robotics in Germany, strengthening its European base and enhancing supply capabilities across the DACH region (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland).

“Caracol has achieved remarkable growth by turning a technological vision into solid industrial performance,” said François-Xavier Dedde, Partner at Omnes Capital. “This Series B round provides the financial strength to scale globally while consolidating its European leadership in advanced manufacturing and contributing to Europe’s deep-tech resilience.”

“We are thrilled to invest in Caracol, a company defined by strong technological expertise, visionary leadership, and a clear commitment to sustainability,” said Sophie Sursock, Partner at Move Capital Fund I. “We look forward to supporting its international expansion through strategic partnerships and alliances.”

Alessandro Scortecci, Head of Direct Investments at CDP Venture Capital, said Caracol represents “a strong example of how Italian innovation can scale globally with ambition and execution.” He added that CDP Venture Capital was among Caracol’s earliest backers and continues to support its growth through multiple investment vehicles.

Caracol was advised by Growth Capital, which acted as sole financial advisor, with Fieldfisher serving as legal counsel. Legance advised CDP Venture Capital, Omnes Capital, and Move Capital; Portolano Cavallo advised Neva SGR; and Target Law advised Primo Capital SGR and Eureka! Venture SGR.
