Bioprotece and Fit 3D acquired Eplus3D’s EP-M260 metal 3D printer to offer custom-made prostheses with intricate structures that were previously unattainable. One of the key features that set the EP-M260 apart is its ability to meet the stringent requirements of Bioprotece’s highly trabecular prosthesis structure – prostheses that promote osseointegration and bone regeneration. The EP-M260 has successfully met these demands – showcasing printing capabilities and quality that fully met requirements.

To ensure the machine’s ability to meet these precision requirements, Eplus3D employs laser beam quality control during the metal powder melting process. Additionally, the EP-M260 utilizes innovative gas flow management, an optimized filter system, and other advanced technologies developed by the company for its metal AM machines.
