# Beyond the CF200, TPM3D launches PPS V3 and new materials at Formnext

The four-day Formnext 2025 exhibition in Frankfurt concluded with [SLS 3D printing specialist TPM3D](https://www.voxelmatters.directory/company/tpm3d/) reinforcing its position in this segment through new hardware and material developments. Following the debut of its Compact Series CF200 and PPS200 systems — [previously covered](https://www.voxelmatters.com/tpm3d-debuts-compact-sls-printer-at-formnext/) — the company focused this year’s spotlight on the upgraded PPS V3.0 powder management system and a pair of high-performance SLS materials for industrial and high-value applications.

## PPS V3.0 for upgraded industrial efficiency

The PPS V3.0 system represents the third generation in TPM3D’s automated post-processing and powder recycling line. Designed to serve large-format SLS platforms such as the P550DL and S600DL, the unit introduces measurable efficiency gains across key metrics. According to TPM3D, the system reduces compressed-air consumption by 90% and floor space by 20%, while boosting cleaning throughput by 50%. These improvements enable continuous, full-height printing with minimal manual handling.

By supporting two large-format printers through one centralized powder management unit, PPS V3.0 is positioned to cut labor costs and improve workflow integration in industrial-scale SLS production. TPM3D reports that the new system maintains closed-loop powder handling — from depowdering and recovery to blending and refeeding — in a sealed environment that minimizes material loss and airborne particles.

## New Precimid powders for SLS

Alongside its new hardware, TPM3D expanded its material range with two SLS polymers engineered for high-performance use cases. Precimid 1190 is a co-polymer nylon developed for structural parts requiring impact resistance and durability, while Precimid 1174Pro CF combines PA12 with carbon fiber reinforcement for improved stiffness, heat resistance, and dimensional stability.

TPM3D positions the carbon-fiber-reinforced material for applications in automotive, aerospace, and electronic component manufacturing, where lightweight mechanical strength is essential. The nylon variant targets functional prototypes and end-use parts across consumer goods, industrial tooling, and healthcare.

Both materials are formulated to optimize powder recyclability and surface finish when used with TPM3D’s latest SLS platforms and post-processing systems. Their addition strengthens the company’s integrated ecosystem of equipment, materials, and application workflows — a strategy aimed at delivering standardized, production-grade additive manufacturing solutions.

## Multi-sector SLS adoption

At Formnext, TPM3D’s booth featured application samples spanning industrial engineering, healthcare, and design. Functional mechanical parts, lightweight consumer electronics, and custom orthotics demonstrated the adaptability of the company’s SLS process chain. In collaboration with Tsinghua University’s Academy of Arts & Design, large-format art pieces such as “Utopia” and “Spring Sea Silk Waves” showcased the scalability and precision of TPM3D’s systems in creative manufacturing.

While the CF200 Compact Series captured early attention during the show for its accessibility to small and medium-sized enterprises, the PPS V3.0 and new materials underscored TPM3D’s broader industrial ambitions — delivering higher efficiency, cleaner operation, and material diversity across global additive manufacturing sectors.
