Azure Printed Homes responds to increased demand after LA fires

Azure Printed Homes, a 3D printed housing company, has launched a $4.2 million crowdfunding campaign to enable the scaling of its production capacity to rebuild Los Angeles after the recent wildfires.

The campaign is right off the back of the ‘Return and Rebuild’ executive order issued by LA Mayor Karen Bass, which prioritizes the rapid recovery of affected communities. The order allows temporary housing solutions, including tiny homes and modular structures, to be placed on fire-damaged properties for up to three years. Azure’s 3D printed homes – made from recycled materials and built 70% faster (homes can be produced in just 4-5 weeks) and 30% more cost-effectively than traditional construction methods – are uniquely positioned to meet this demand.

With plans to further increase production capacity at its Los Angeles facility and to accelerate the opening of its new Colorado factory, Azure is growing in market presence and making efforts to meet the growing surge in demand from displaced families while also continuing to deliver sustainable, high-quality housing solutions.
