Azoth 3D, a specialist in sinter-based in additive manufacturing technologies, has partnered with Incus to enhance its production capabilities using the Incus Hammer Lab35, a cutting-edge lithography-based metal manufacturing (LMM) system. This collaboration enables Azoth 3D to deliver small, complex metal parts with industry-leading turnaround times of 5-7 days.

“Incus’ LMM technology allows us to bridge the gap between rapid prototyping and end-use production with an unmatched lead time of just 5-7 days,” said Cody Cochran, General Manager and Co-Founder of Azoth 3D. “This is a game-changer for industries that require high-quality metal components quickly and cost-effectively.”

LMM technology is gaining rapid adoption for its unique high-precison metal 3D printing capabilities. The adoption of Incus’ LMM technology marks a significant step forward in Azoth 3D’s mission to provide high-quality metal components with shorter lead times, increased design freedom, and cost efficiency.

Explore how Azoth 3D and Incus are revolutionizing production with advanced lithography-based metal manufacturing technology.

The Hammer Lab35 machine utilizes a photopolymerization-based process, similar to ceramic slurry DLP, to achieve fine feature resolution and surface finish, making it ideal for complex geometries and intricate designs.

Azoth 3D’s deployment of the Hammer Lab35 will focus on three key materials— two steel alloys and one titanium alloy —essential for industrial applications. The first is 316L Stainless Steel, a corrosion-resistant material widely used in medical, food processing, and marine applications. The second is 17-4 PH Stainless Steel, a high-strength, precipitation-hardened steel known for its durability in aerospace, automotive, and tooling applications. Titanium is also currently available for production. It is widely utilized in defense, medical, and aerospace industries for its strength, durability, and lightweight properties.

“We are excited to collaborate with Azoth 3D and bring the advantages of LMM technology to more manufacturers,” added Denise Moedder, Head of Application Engineering at Incus. “The Hammer Lab35’s ability to produce fine-detail metal parts with exceptional surface quality aligns perfectly with Azoth 3D’s vision for rapid and efficient production.”

The integration of Incus’ technology makes Incus LMM technology available in the US market and further strengthens Azoth 3D’s commitment to delivering cutting-edge additive manufacturing solutions, reducing supply chain constraints, and driving the next generation of metal 3D printing.

When a customer is ready to order parts, Azoth makes it easy with their secure Smart Quote system, a digital tool that streamlines the process for parts that need to be delivered sooner. With the Smart RFQ platform, users can quickly upload 3D data and 2D drawings and receive quotes the same day on most projects.
