# Axtra3D expands dental portfolio to 12 materials with new pro3dure resin and deeper Oqcam integration

[Axtra3D, a leader in High-Speed SLA 3D printing](https://www.voxelmatters.directory/company/axtra3d/), has [further expanded its dental solutions portfolio](https://www.voxelmatters.com/axtra3d-expands-portfolio-of-high-performance-dental-resins/) to 12 validated materials with the addition of Printodent GR-19.1 OA/MSI from pro3dure. The biomimetically functionalized resin is designed to reduce biofilm adhesion on orthodontic splints.

At the same time, the company has also [deepened the integration between its Volume software and Oqcam](https://www.voxelmatters.com/axtra3d-partners-with-oqcam-to-elevate-digital-dentistry-and-automate-3d-printing/). This is aimed at targeting faster, more automated job preparation for dental labs and service providers.

The new Printodent material incorporates pro3dure's MSI technology, which does not rely on antibiotic principles and is not designed to create resistance pathways. The resin also exhibits thermo-adaptive behavior, which Axtra3D stated contributes to wearing comfort in clinical use.

[Validated for use on the Lumia X1 Dental 3D printer](https://www.voxelmatters.com/teamziereis-gmbh-adopts-axtra3ds-lumia-x1/), the material is compatible with Axtra3D's Hi-Speed SLA platform and Hybrid PhotoSynthesis (HPS) technology, which uses a laser and digital light processing (DLP) projector simultaneously to image resin layers.

The platform delivers a claimed 20x throughput improvement over traditional SLA systems, while maintaining surface quality and dimensional accuracy.

“With these solutions, dental labs and clinics can seamlessly integrate 3D printing into their workflows while achieving superior precision, repeatability, and throughput,” stated Steffen Reinfurth, Vice President of Global Dental at Axtra3D.

“Whether it's models, splints, dentures, or crowns, this portfolio unlocks new levels of ROI and efficiency in digital dentistry.”

# Software integration with Oqcam targets production scalability

The strengthened connection between Axtra3D’s Volume software and the Oqcam platform sees added AI-supported automation, real-time nesting, and intelligent job preparation.

The enhancements are designed to reduce manual preparation time and increase machine utilization, positioning the workflow for industrialized dental manufacturing at scale.

Axtra3D is currently exhibiting its full solutions range at Lab Day Chicago, until February 21.
