Leading High-Speed SLA 3D printing hardware and software provider Axtra3D has added French distributor Multistation to its reseller network, extending commercial availability of its Lumia X1 printer into the French market for the first time.

Multistation provides consulting services and machine sales to customers across the automotive, aerospace, energy, medical, research and development, jewelry, and dentistry sectors, and the company’s addition to Axtra3D’s distribution network gives French industrial and dental customers direct access to the Lumia X1 system and its underlying Hybrid PhotoSynthesis (HPS) resin polymerization technology.

“We aim to expand our offerings for dental application with the Lumia X1 system from Axtra3D,” said Yannick Loisance, Chief Executive Officer of Multistation. “These machines complement our existing additive manufacturing portfolio and strengthen our ability to meet the growing needs of our customers.”

The Lumia X1 uses HPS, a process that combines a laser and a digital light processing (DLP) projector imaging simultaneously, alongside TruLayer, a layer separation technology designed to enable rapid detachment of the active print layer. Axtra3D claims the combination delivers a 20x throughput improvement over conventional SLA while preserving dimensional accuracy.

“We are more than pleased to welcome Multistation to the Axtra3D reseller family,” said Rajeev Kulkarni, Chief Sales Officer at Axtra3D. “As our technology proves itself in real-world use cases in both industrial and dental markets, we’re excited to be expanding our reseller network further to meet increasing interest.

“Partnering with Multistation to reach the French market is another step towards the goal of increasing Axtra3D’s footprint in the global AM space.”

The agreement represents Axtra3D’s continued effort to build out its international distribution presence within the global AM market, and follows on from recent expansions of its North American product line, its elastomeric materials portfolio, and its dental resins range.
