Axtra3D appoints Marion Timmermans to lead EMEA growth
The Hi-Speed SLA system builder based its new vice president in the Netherlands as it widened its reseller network outside North America
Axtra3D has appointed Marion Timmermans as Vice President of Revenue and Growth EMEA & RoW. Timmermans, based in the Netherlands, takes up the role as Axtra3D expands its global presence, builds out its reseller network and works to broaden adoption of Hi-Speed stereolithography.
In the position, Timmermans will develop strategic customer relationships and support commercial growth across international markets. Greg Wilkman will continue to lead Axtra3D’s North American activities and serve as Timmermans’ counterpart in that region.
Timmermans brings a professional background covering sales, engineering, biotechnology and additive manufacturing, combining technical and commercial experience in the role.

Axtra3D’s flagship LumiaX1 system pairs the company’s Hybrid PhotoSynthesis resin polymerization process with TruLayer, a layer separation technology. HPS uses a laser and a DLP projector to image simultaneously, while TruLayer detaches the printed layer rapidly from the vat. The combination delivers a claimed 20-fold throughput improvement while preserving the accuracy and fidelity of SLA parts.
The company sells through two commercial models. Axtra Solutions supplies complete print profiles tuned by its applications team and material partners, while Axtra OpenAccess builds on that model and allows customers to experiment with new materials and applications.
