Discover ATLIX, the new leader in metal additive manufacturing, making its debut at Formnext 2025 with a legacy of innovation. The carve-out was finalized in recent months, transitioning TRUMPF’s established metal 3D printing business into a standalone company headquartered in Schio, Italy. ATLIX reports it will continue offering the same industrial-grade product lines and support, while expanding its technology roadmap to address evolving customer demands in high-end manufacturing.

“ATLIX is born from a strong foundation and looks to the future with the same determination and vision that has guided our historic growth,” said Matthias Himmelsbach, Chief Executive Officer of ATLIX. “We are committed to continuing to strengthen long-term relationships with our existing customers and to developing new ones.”

The company plans to expand its portfolio and enhance its responsiveness to market needs. “Our customers can rely on our proven products and services which they know and trust,” said Marino Ferrarese, Head of Sales and Marketing at ATLIX. “We plan to expand our product portfolio and become more agile and responsive to meet evolving customer needs better. ATLIX will remain a solid and flexible partner, ready to conquer tomorrow’s challenges.”

ATLIX is using Formnext to unveil its new flagship platform, the TruPrint 5000. Designed for the production of large, complex components, the system integrates high-speed automation to enable cost-effective serial manufacturing with reduced cost per part. The company positions the machine as a cornerstone of its strategy to deliver scalable, sustainable, and advanced metal additive manufacturing capabilities globally.

The rebranding marks a significant step in ATLIX’s evolution as it seeks to strengthen its international presence and customer base while continuing development on next-generation 3D printing technologies.
