Asiga launches Asiga PrintPods capsules at IDS

The Australian 3D printer manufacturer Asiga introduced a new material product line at the International Dental Show (IDS) 2025 in Cologne, Germany: the Asiga PrintPods. These self-contained material capsules are designed to transform existing Asiga 3D printers into powerful chairside systems, enabling dental professionals to produce high-quality restorations such as crowns, inlays, onlays, and veneers in just minutes.

The PrintPods offer a fast and efficient solution. They allow users to 3D print a crown in minutes, significantly streamlining the workflow in dental practices. Designed with economy in mind, the system uses small, disposable cartridges that are also environmentally conscious. Each PrintPod can be reused for up to five prints, providing both convenience and cost-efficiency.

Staying true to Asiga’s open material philosophy, PrintPods are compatible with a wide range of restorative materials from trusted dental brands, giving clinicians the freedom to choose the best option for each case. Built on Asiga’s proven and reliable 3D printing technology, this innovation ensures consistent, high-quality results every time.
