Product development specialists, ARRK Europe, have partnered with AMFG to launch a brand new online 3D printing service, ARRK Online, which allows customers to obtain a quote and order SLA and SLS parts. ARRK Online is powered by AMFG, a leading provider of production automation software for additive manufacturing.

AMFG’s automation software will help ARRK streamline its online client-facing processes by giving customers an alternative way to request parts from the company in addition to its other channels. Following an initial registration on ARRK Online, customers can upload their files directly to receive a quotation in seconds. Once an order has been confirmed, the software’s extensive auto-analysis and repair tools can be used by ARRK’s projects team to prepare the file for production.

“ARRK has been offering manufacturing solutions since 1962 and we’re constantly lookingfor ways to innovate,” said Rupert Sleightholme, Projects Manager at ARRK Europe.

“In recent years, we’ve experienced a huge rise in demand for our 3D printing services, particularly for SLS and SLA parts. Using AMFG’s software allows us to meet this online need and give our customers a faster and simpler way to obtain SLS and SLA parts, while our projects team continue to provide a more tailored service for customers with complex geometries or where multiple processes or services are required.”

ARRK is among the world’s largest product development specialists, with over 2,000 employees in Europe alone. The company deals with a large volume of 3D printing requests whilst also providing a comprehensive range of engineering, prototyping, tooling and low volume production services through its other sites.

“ARRK is one of the leading service providers in additive manufacturing today and we’re excited to have them on board,” said Felix Doerr, Head of Business Development at AMFG. “ARRK is a great example of how AM service providers can significantly improve efficiency by giving customers another way to engage with their services.

“We’re proud that AMFG has become the solution of choice to help service bureaus and OEMs alike enhance their AM processes with our extensive range of workflow and production management solutions.”
