ARKKY is a young footwear brand with a modern approach to fashion. The company emphasizes that it does not follow patterns or trends but sets them itself. ARKKY uses proprietary 3D printers, TAPS, that use photopolymerization to print resins. The technology bears the sophisticated name AIHALS (AI Hindered Asynchronous Light Synthesis) and is a modified version of the HALS method originally developed by PollyPolymer.
It involves slowing the photopolymerization reaction in the resin by adding inhibitors and precisely synchronizing it with the movements of the printing platform. As a result, layer creation does not occur across the entire area at once, but in a narrow reaction zone. It allows for extremely fast printing without loss of the part’s mechanical properties.
Additionally, ARKKY offers over 5,000 material options specifically designed for footwear. It also uses a new generation of bio-blend containing 53% biological components, offering durability, flexibility, compression resistance, and recyclability.

The name ARKKY is a combination of “ARK” and “KY.” ARK symbolizes shelter and renewal, with each layer of resin intended to be like a plank building a personal ark for the user’s feet. “KY” stands for “Keep Yourself,” an encouragement to remain true to oneself and care for the planet.
The photopolymer used in production is fully recyclable and can be returned to printing after the product’s end of life, closing the material loop.
